Mykal Van Stavern has a lovely bride,  Michele, and they have three children. They have one son and two daughters.

Mykal graduated Texas Tech University where he graduated in 2001 with a BA in Political Science.  Not only is he a proud resident and business owner in Boerne, Texas, but he is also a member of their chamber of commerce.
